We asked Andrea Vahl, co-author of Facebook Marketing for Dummies, how she thinks schools should be using Facebook in their marketing campaign. Here's what she had to say:
"Depending on the grade level,
I think schools should be targeting the parents. Giving advice on how
to help their child succeed in the school, updating about events.
Encourage sharing with other parents so that your Page is shared more often.
If it's college level, use Facebook as a recruiting tool and a place
for students to connect. Again making sure you are focused on providing
great information for your audience."
